Impetigo

At Unichem, our pharmacists can assess and provide treatment options for Impetigo, a common skin infection. With timely care, we help manage symptoms, reduce discomfort, and stop the infection from spreading. Book online or visit your local Unichem pharmacy for professional support and advice.

What’s involved in Impetigo treatment?

Impetigo is a common and highly contagious skin infection that causes red sores, which can break open, ooze fluid, and develop a yellow–brown crust. It often appears around the nose, mouth, hands, or other exposed areas of the body.

At Unichem, our trained pharmacists can assess mild cases of impetigo and provide appropriate treatment. This involves a consultation to check your symptoms, followed by the supply of an effective oral antibiotic or, if necessary, referral to a doctor for further care.

Why treat it early?
